Service qualified leads

People who come to iflylegacy.com asking for a broker to help them buy or sell. We verify each request, then post it for brokers. The first broker to pay gets the lead and the contact info, priced by the client’s budget. How are these different from SQLs?

Broker FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What are SQLs?

SQL stands for sales qualified lead. It is a lead our team has already researched and checked, so it is ready for a real sales conversation, not a cold call.

Our team goes through public aircraft ads online and finds owners (or friends of owners) selling their airplane, people looking to buy one, and people looking to lease out or dry lease an aircraft. We skip ads posted by other brokers. Every SQL is reviewed against several metrics before it makes your sheet.

SQLs come as seller, buyer and lease leads, and you pick the types and aircraft you want. They show up on your account, where you track each one, and you can download them as an Excel sheet. SQLs are coming soon.

Are SQLs guaranteed?

Every SQL is active and verified at the time of purchase. Right before an SQL is delivered, we check that the listing link is still live and still posted by the owner or a friend of the owner. Listings can change or come down after that.

An SQL is a sales opportunity, not a promise. Getting a lead doesn’t guarantee a listing agreement, a sale or the outcome you want. What happens next depends on the owner, the market and how you work the lead.

How are service qualified leads different from SQLs?

SQLs (sales qualified leads) come from public ads our team finds online: owners (or friends of owners) selling their airplane, people looking to buy one, and people looking to lease out or dry lease an aircraft. They come to you in batches, and you reach out to them.

Service qualified leads are people who came to iflylegacy.com themselves and asked for a broker to help them buy or sell. We verify each request before it’s posted. Each one goes to only one broker, the first to pay for it, and the price depends on the client’s budget.

Sign up above and we’ll email you whenever a new one comes in. Buying a lead gets you the contact info; it doesn’t guarantee a sales agreement or the outcome you want.

Why do most of my leads come from one website or origin?

That's normal, and it comes down to where owners list their airplanes. Here's why:

  • Owners go where the buyers are. Most people selling their own airplane put it on the one or two biggest aircraft for sale websites, because that's where buyers shop. So most owner listings sit in one place.
  • We narrow seller leads to owners. We try to keep seller SQLs to aircraft listed by the owner or a friend of the owner, so you aren't pitching your services to another broker company. Not every website makes it clear who posted a listing, so we lean on the sites where we can tell. That naturally points your leads toward certain websites.
  • Every lead has to pass review. Listings that are stale, missing contact details or already sold don't make the cut. Some sources lose more listings to that check than others.
  • It shifts with the market. As listing volume moves between sites, your mix of sources moves with it.
Why do I get more seller leads than buyer leads?

Sellers advertise. An owner selling an airplane posts a public listing we can find and check, while most buyers shop quietly. That's why seller SQLs always come in at a higher volume than buyer SQLs. We make your sheet as heavy in the types you pick as the market allows.

How does listing my aircraft work?

Add your aircraft and photos, and our team reviews the listing. Once it's approved, you pay $10 a month by card and it goes live on iflylegacy.com with its own landing page. Cancel any time and the listing comes down.

Can I work with Legacy on a sale in DFW?

Yes. We co-list aircraft with brokers and act as a local contact in Dallas–Fort Worth, including pre-buy inspection coordination. Ask about joint listings.
